Abson is a hamlet in South Gloucestershire, England. It is in the United Kingdom. The center of the village is a small village green and a church. This church is dedicated to St James the Great, and is very important to Abson. Its belltower has six bells which are still rung by hand.

Blue Lodge, one of the houses, was once the home of Anna Sewell. Anne Sewell is the writer of Black Beauty. While living there she saw a man killed by a cart. This was put into the novel.
