Agriotes is a genus of beetles in the family Elateridae. These beetles are called "click beetles". The genus contains many species. They are found in the Americas, Asia and much of Europe.

The larvae, called "wireworms", feed on roots of plants and also on seeds lying on the ground. They are considered pests by farmers because they damage crops.

Agriotes is divided into four subgenera:

  • Agriodrastus Reitter, 1911
  • Agriotes Eschscholtz, 1829
  • Tinecoides Gurjeva, 1979
  • Tinecus Fleutieux, 1940
