The arrondissement of Nogent-sur-Seine is an arrondissement of France. It is in the Aube department, Grand Est region. Its capital is the city of Nogent-sur-Seine.

History

When the Aube department was created in 1800, the arrondissement of Nogent-sur-Seine was part of that original department.

Geography

The arrondissement of Nogent-sur-Seine is in the northwest of the Aube department. It is bordered to the north by the Marne department, to the east by the Troyes arrondissement, to the south by the Yonne department and to the west by the Seine-et-Marne department.

The arrondissement of Nogent-sur-Seine has an area of 1,245.3 km2 (480.8 sq mi) and a population of 54,177 inhabitants.
