Ballard is a rural locality in the Lockyer Valley Region, Queensland, Australia. In the 2016 census Ballard had a population of 151 people.
History
The locality, historically known as Ballaroo, is named for Robert Ballard, a railway engineer who oversaw the construction of part of the Ipswich–Toowoomba railway.
