History
The Central African Republic National Olympic Committee (Comité National Olympique et Sportif Centrafricain) was formed in 1964. It was recognized by the International Olympic Committee in 1965.
The Central African Republic has been in every Summer Olympic Games held between the1984 Summer Olympics and the 2012 Summer Olympics. A team from the Central African Republic first competed in the 1968 Summer Olympics.
The country has not won an Olympic medal. No athletes from the Central African Republic have been at any Winter Olympic Games.
