History
The Chad National Olympic Committee was formed in 1963. The Comité Olympique et Sportif Tchadien. was recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) in 1964.
A team from Chad has been at every Summer Olympic Games held between 1964 and 1972 and from 1984 to 2008.
Chad has not sent a team to any Winter Olympic Games.
