Dip slope facts for kids
A Dip slope is the geological formation of tilted strata. They're found on homoclinal ridges, one side being steep and irregular and the other (the dip slope) being parallel to the bedding.

The south-facing (right) side of Mount Rundle in Canada is a good example of a dip slope. The ledge-forming dipping strata consists of Rundle Group dolomite.
