Dovecot is an eastern district of Liverpool, England. Other names for Dovecot include Diddcot and Diddy Town. It is situated to the east edge of the city and is bordered by the districts of knotty Ash, West Derby, and Broadgreen, and to the east Roby. The area is part of the Knotty Ash ward of Liverpool City Council.
Description
Dovecot is a small district, composed primarily of 20th-century town houses, usually large in size. There are a number of more desirable semi-detached houses on the border with Knotty Ash. The main attraction of the area is Dovecot Park, one of Liverpool's many public parks.

The closest railway station is Broad Green railway station, which offers regular services to the Liverpool city centre, Manchester, Wigan, and St Helens.
