Eugene Borisovich Dynkin (Russian: Евге́ний Бори́сович Ды́нкин; May 11, 1924 – 14 November 2014) was a Soviet-American mathematician. He worked most in probability and algebra. Dynkin especially worked in semisimple Lie groups, Lie algebras, and Markov processes. The Dynkin diagram, the Dynkin system, and Dynkin's lemma are named for him. Before his death, Dynkin was a mathematician at Cornell University.

Dynkin died at his home in Ithaca, New York, aged 90.
