The Focke-Wulf Fw 189 was a twin-engine military aircraft. It was flown during World War II by the Luftwaffe (the German air force), who used it mainly for reconnaissance. The plane was built in Germany by Focke-Wulf Aircraft Company. It had a crew of three people. The 189 was built of wood and metal. It was nicknamed Uhu, or owl in English.
