Fujiidera (藤井寺市, Fujiidera-shi) is a city in the middle region of Osaka Prefecture in Japan.
The municipality calls itself "Fujidera City" in English.
History
According to the Imperial Household Agency, Emperor Chūai and Emperor Ingyō are buried in an earthen tumulus (kofun) at Fujiidera. Chūai and Ingyō are venerated at a memorial Shinto shrine (misasagi) at this site.
The present city was established in 1966.
