Hucknall, which used to be called Hucknall Torkard, is an English town near Nottingham. It is mostly a dormitory town for Nottingham. It is 11 km (7 mi) north of Nottingham. It is the final resting place of Lord Byron, an English poet and Greek War of Independence leader, and Ada Lovelace, a famous mathematician and programmer.
