Idalia is a southern suburb in the City of Townsville, Queensland, Australia. In the 2016 census Idalia had a population of 4,438 people.

Oonoonba State School is a government primary (Prep-6) school for boys and girls at Fairfield Waters Drive (19°18′16″S 146°48′44″E / 19.3045°S 146.8122°E).
