Description: This photograph was made by myself at Grand-Port Mauritius, in the graceful year of 2007 with the digital camera Panasonic FZ-30. This is the monument dedicated to the 1810 battle between French and British navy. This is the bay were all this happened. This monument was created in 1899. It is situated at the place called Point de Régate, on the shore of the harbour of Grand Port, very near Mahébourg (or even inside Mahébourg) I've made several high resolution pictures of the harbour of Grand Port, Mauritius.
