Description: So i first time travelled through Orange Line Metro Train & had a Birdseye view of Lahore City! Facts 1. Orange Line is an automated rapid transit system in Lahore, Pakistan, maximum speed of the trains is 80 km/h (50 mph). 2. The line is Pakistan's first metro train since the Karachi Circular Railway which had closed its operations during 1999. 3. The line spans 27.1 km (16.8 mi) with 25.4 km (15.8 mi) elevated & 1.72 km (1.1 mi) underground. 4. The line is served by 26 stations & is expected to handle 250,000 passenger daily. It is a part of the wider CPEC (China Pakistan Economic Corridor). 5. The project was initiated with a signed memorandum between the Governments of Pakistan & China in May 2014, financed by both Governments. 6. On 25 October 2020, Orange Line Train started its commercial operation. 7. The Orange Line is operation for 12 hours per day, between 09:00 & 09:00 8. Specs: a). North End: Dera Gujran Terminal South End: Ali Town Terminal b). Stations: 26 (24 elevated, 2 underground) c). Length: 27.1 km (16.8 mi) d). Rolling stock: 27 Trains, 5 cars e).
