Description: Three-dimensional DTFE reconstruction of the inner parts of the 2dF Galaxy Redshift Survey. The figure reveals an impressive view on the cosmic structures in the nearby universe. Several superclusters stand out, such as the Sloan Great Wall, once known as the largest structure in the universe until discovery of the Huge-LQG in January 2013. This picture was featured on 7 November 2007 on Astronomy Picture of the Day (APOD).
