Description: The so-called Diàtreta Trivulzio, exhibited in the Archaeological Museum in Milan, Italy). This is a glass jug surrounded by a web of glass circles. This is the only specimen of this kind of objects which survived until the present completely intact. Around the surface runs the Latin inscription, in green glass letters, "BIBE VIVAS MULTIS ANNIS": "Drink (<wine>), and you will live for many years". Picture by Giovanni Dall'Orto, March 13 2012.
