Description: Aerial view of the southwestern town of Egg Harbor, including the unincorporated community of Carlsville (lower and to the right of the center) in w:Door County, Wisconsin, Wisconsin, taken June 27, 2020. Wisconsin Highway 42 runs north-south at bottom and northeast-southwest in the top part of the photograph. The very bottom of the photograph is in the town of Sevastopol. Recreational areas include Door County Land Trust land accessible from Governors Woods Trail (somewhat above the center and to the left), the Bayshore Blufflands State Natural Area (map) (bottom left corner), the Oak Road Nature Preserve (map), the Lautenbach Woods Nature Preserve (map) (along the top border and closer to the shore although not along it), and the Plum Bottom Wayside (towards the upper right, on the left side of Wisconsin Highway 42). In 2022 the county Facilities and Parks Committee discussed considering it a county park instead of just a wayside.
