Description: German announcement in occupied Poland (dated 2nd February 1944), signed by Commandant of SD and Sicherheitspolizei in Warsaw – SS-Obersturmbannführer Ludwig Hahn, informing about the execution of 100 of Polish hostages as a reprisal for death of 2 Germans in Warsaw. In fact those hostages were executed in retaliation of death of SS and Police Leader in Warsaw, SS-Brigadeführer Franz Kutschera, who was killed by soldiers of Armia Krajowa on 1st February 1944.
