Description: The 11th day of Armenian presidential election protests. At 7:30 am, the peaceful "camp-in" protest at Liberty Square in Yerevan was violently ended by Armenian special forces which used truncheons and electric shock devices to disperse the crowd of around 1,000. At 12:30 pm, a new crowd marches to the French Embassy in a spontaneous demonstration. At around 3:20 pm, a white unmarked military jeep drove through the crowd at high speed east bound on Argishti St and southbound onto Grigor Lusavorich Ave, running over 2 women. In this picture (3:30pm), the police car has been captured and set ablaze; the policeman escaped on foot.
