Description: Astoria Riverfront Trolley car 300 eastbound (going away from the camera) just west of 12th Street. This heritage streetcar line in Astoria, Oregon, has been in operation since 1999. Car 300, nicknamed "Old 300", is an ex-San Antonio (Texas) streetcar built in 1913 by the American Car Company, by that time a subsidiary of the J. G. Brill Company. The photo was taken four days after Independence Day, and the car is adorned with U.S. flags and red, white and blue bunting.
