Description: Beryl Locality: near Alabashka, Ural Mts., Russia Size: thumbnail, 2.2 x 2 x 1.6 cm Emerald With such good color, gemminess, and form, this would be a great emerald specimen from anywhere modern; but to have such from an old classic locality in the Urals makes this a true killer. It is also a 3-dimensional and well balanced thumbnail of exceptional showiness and color. It is the gemmiest such crystal I have seen for the locality. It is glassy as all get-out and is complete all around. Pics just do not do it justice! 2.2 x 2 x 1.6 cm
