Description: The historic Black Squirrel Creek Bridge, a green steel through truss bridge built in 1934 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Next to it, in the background, is a wood deck footbridge retrofitted from a former steel railroad bridge. These bridges are located on U.S. Highway 24 near Peyton, about 20 miles northeast of Colorado Springs, Colorado.
