Description: The Deery Inn in Blountville, Tennessee, in the southeastern United States. The inn was built in the late 1785-1801 and operated until the 1930s. Over the years, its guests included U.S. presidents Andrew Jackson, James K. Polk, and Andrew Johnson, Revolutionary War notable Marquis de Lafayette, and future French king Louis Philippe. It was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places in 1973.
