Description: The Tramways Centre in Bristol, England. Several different tram routes met at St Augustine's Parade and Broad Quay and even today it is known as The Centre. The mock timber framed bulding with the clock in the background is the office of the Bristol Tramways Company; the Blue Taxis that are advertised on its wall were also operated by the company. Postcard 144 in the same series is dated 6 August 1919 by the Bristol Archives.[1]
