Description: Albert Canal [1] (filled with Meuse river water) near Lanaye [2], where it's connected with the Meuse river through the 1,9 km long Lanaye canal. On this image the Albert Canal bows westwards (leftwards, in the Antwerp direction) trough the plateau (upper left), right before its "Mount Saint Peter" [3], whereas the locks (upper centre and right) give entrance to the Lanaye canal, connecting with Meuse river 1,9 km more northernly.
