Description: Charles Latham MRCS LSA (1816-1907) public memorial statue/monument in Sandbach, Cheshire, between Ashfields and Aldi. A "Surgeon General Practioner"[1] (physician), he was born in Sandbach on 6 Dec 1816 (the son of Richard and Sarah Latham,[2]), he married Mary Newham, and died in Sandbach on 6 July 1907 aged 90. He held Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons, and was a Licenciate of the Society of Apothecaries.
