Description: Christmas Party For Trooper Devereux's Daughter- Christmas in Wartime, Pinner, Middlesex, December 1944 Outside the main entrance to Selfridge's department store on Oxford Street, representatives of the YMCA load the Christmas tree they have just purchased into their van. The tree is destined for Mrs Devereux and her daughter Jean, a present from Mrs Devereux's husband, currently serving overseas. The tree has been purchased through the 'Gifts to Home League' of the YMCA.
