Description: I had the pleasure of attending the 2011 Carnevale in Venice, Italy in February 2011. I arrived in-country a few days before the Carnevale started, stayed in Vicenza with a dear friend and took several day trips - the first one was to the city of Padova (Padua); it is quite a cool city - you can see the Venetian influences. It is also a university town and you can see the handiwork of creative students all around. It's really a lovely city to visit and I was lucky enough to hit it on a bright sunny February day. Unfortunately I left my Rough Guide to Italy with my friend and I don't have the names of various buildings, parks, or churches - if you know the names please let me know and I will post it - grazie!
