Description: The Swarnim Vijay Varsh (Golden Jubilee Victory Year) Victory Flame was taken to the home of the senior most veteran in the state of Odisha and the Commander of the Eastern Naval Fleet during the 1971 War, Vice Admiral S.H. Sarma, PVSM by a delegation of the Tri- Services. Vice Admiral Sarma played a key role in the effective blockade of East Pakistan and also the sinking of PNS Ghazi during the 1971 war.
