This is looking north on 5th Street between Allen Street and Fremont Street, standing on the east side of the street. The San Jose lodging house - Tombstone's first lodging house if you believe the modern sign - is on 5th and Fremont, and part of its sign can be seen behind the nearest wooden pole. The livery stable left of the San Jose - while not there any more in present day - has a modern sign noting its location (it's Jack Crabtree's Livery Stable). Also, the mountains look right according to Google Street View.
