Description: A leaf-point from Cresswell Crags, Derbyshire, England, photopgraphed at Derby Museum and Art Gallery. The museums exhibit label says "Leaf-points were probably spear tips. They are one of the earliest recognisable objects made by fully modern humans in Britain. This is a particularly good example. c.38-35,000 years old". (... I am told by Derby Museum that this object is from Creswell Crags, but is not from the Cresellian Culture - so I'm moving it Victuallers (talk) 15:19, 27 July 2011 (UTC)) The tip of this object is in Manchester museum. Taken during GLAMDerby Backstage Pass.
