Description: The Drumm House, also known as the Johnson Cottage, located at 115 West Green Street in Johnstown, New York, was one of six similar cottages built c.1763 by Sir William Johnson to house the Scottish Highlander artisans and professionals he recruited to come to the New World to become soldiers. The house is now a museum run by the Johnstown Historical Society. (Source: Signs on site)
