Description: Emery Molyneux's terrestrial globe (1592), temporarily exhibited at the British Museum in London, England, UK. Dedicated to Elizabeth I of England, it was the first terrestrial globe made in England, and was referred to in William Shakespeare's The Comedy of Errors (1592–1594). The globe is in the permanent collection of Middle Temple and is usually displayed in its library.
