Description: The first official Flag of the Vice President of the United States, defined by Executive Order 7285 in 1936. The design was the same as the 1916 President's flag, defined in Executive Order 2390 in 1916, except the colors were reversed -- instead of a mostly white eagle and stars on a blue background, the Vice President's flag was a mostly blue eagle and stars on a white background. The central element is a version of the Seal of the President of the United States. The flag was used until 1948.
