Description: Former mayor David Crombie, in front of Crombie Park. I'd never met him before, and found him very gracious. I told him how sorry I was when I read his son Jonathon had passed away, and we spoke about the play "The Drowsy Chaperone", that Jonathon was associated with, and the charming story about how it had been written as a wedding present, with no one expecting it be a long-running success on Broadway. He spoke briefly about his son's friends, who had worked on that play, and how they knew one another from high school. The one name I recognized was that of Don McKellar -- also very talented. This was a delightful couple of minutes for me.
