Description: Fort Crailo, the manor house of the Manor of Rensselaerswyck, was built around 1712 and is reportedly the place where a member of the British Army wrote the song Yankee Doodle in 1755. The building became a National Historic Landmark in 1961. It is located in Rensselaer, New York, United States.
