Description: Apparently, foundation remnants in French Creek State Park, Pennsylvania. The area, now pretty much closed off, was known as French Creek State Park: Six Penny Day Use District and listed on the NRHP on February 11, 1987. Located 7 miles (11 km) northeast of Morgantown on Pennsylvania Route 345, Union Township, Berks County, Pennsylvania. The buildings there - beach shelters and such - have all fallen down and disappeared, but the pavement is still in pretty good shape, except covered with leaves and dirt. To get there driving south on 345, stop at the first (closed) gate after the north entrance to the park, on the right, which is right after a bridge. There's no parking there, but follow the path on foot to the parking lot. This and similar remnants are north of the "road" just north of the parking lot. I didn't make it all the way to the lake or the beach, but they are likely in pretty bad shape. Thanks to the friendly ranger who told me how to get there
