Description: Gayan Bayan : Gayan-Bayan is an another traditional performance of sattriya culture. This program is a combination of playing of Khols and Taal accordingly singing devotional songs in a synchronizing manner. The singer is called ‘gayan’ and the instrument players are called ‘bayans’. The vaishnavic disciples plays Gayan-Bayan at the beginning of any cultural program, festivals, mythological dramas (Bhaona) etc.
