Description: Large cairn erected by the Glengarry militia to commemorate the services of Sir John Colborne, commander-in-chief of the armed forces during the Upper Canada Rebellion. Erected During the Summers of 1840, 1841 and 1842. The Cairn still exists, at the mouth of the Raisin River near South Lancaster, Ontario.
