Inscription on Mildred Cecil's grave reads "Mildred Arabella Charlotte Henrietta daughter of James Gascoyne Cecil Marquess of Salisbury Born October 24 AS 1822 Married July 7 AS 1842 to Alexander James Beresford Beresford Hope Deceased at Nice March 18 AS 1881 Requiescat in Pace The souls of the righteous are in the hands of God and there shall be no torments touch them". These are situated at Christ Church, Kilndown, Goudhurst, Kent
