Description: Halifax town hall and new build development. Halifax Town Hall was designed by Sir Charles Barry and opened in 1863. This is the north east corner of the building, photographed from Broad Street. The building on the left was constructed in 2005, and has apartments above, with (unoccupied) retail space below. You can make up your own mind how well it sits alongside the older building. Halifax, West Yorkshire, England.
