Description: Henry Clay Lester House, Main Street, Martinsville, Virginia. An early self-made tobacco manufacturer, Henry Clay Lester built his elaborate Victorian gothic home on downtown Martinsville's main thoroughfare, home to many other mansions built by prosperous local merchants and manufacturers.
