Description: Memorial stone in the former McPheeters barracks in Bad Hersfeld (Hohe Luft). It was erected in honor of the soldiers of 3rd Squadron, 14th Armored Cavalry Regiment and the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment who did their military service in Bad Hersfeld. The memorial stone was donated by US Veterans. The stone was unveiled by Hartmut H. Boehmer (mayor of Bad Hersfeld) and John Sherman Crow (Brigadier (retired) President of Blackhorse Association, a veteran organization) on 24 June 2009.
