Description: Church of the Holy Innocents, Thornhill Lees, Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, England, designed by Mallinson & Healey and completed in 1858. All carving by Catherine Mawer. Showing one of two label stop heads, representing Church and State, either side of outer porch doorway. This is Queen Victoria, representing the State. Note: Some photographs of carvings high on the tower and spire, and on the clerestory, will be blurred due to distance.
