Description: This is a photo of a set of Hudson's Bay Company tokens, made of brass, and used circa 1854. They were used in Hudson's Bay Company trading posts in the Eastmain district (east of Hudson's Bay). They are denominated in "Made Beaver" [pelts] or fractions thereof: 1, 1/2, 1/4, 1/8#
