Description: The L.I. Expressway (I-495) from Parkside Drive, Roslyn Heights, Long Island, New York on November 7, 2021, looking towards the west from the merge between Parkside Drive and the LIE's eastbound service road (Powerhouse Road). The overpass carrying the Long Island Rail Road's Oyster Bay Branch is visible in the foreground crossing over Powerhouse Road and the LIE. When the LIE was built through the area in the 1950s, several properties in the then-fairly-new East Park subdivision (which Parkside Drive is located within) had to be taken through eminent domain. A few more properties were taken during a widening project which took place between the 1990s and early 2000s.
