Description: Front of the Isaac Meason House, located off U.S. Route 119 at Mount Braddock northeast of Uniontown in Dunbar Township, Fayette County, Pennsylvania, United States. Built in 1802 and one of the best American examples of Palladian architecture away from the Atlantic coast, it was the first house west of the Appalachians to be designed by an architect. It was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1971.
