Description: THE JOHN DRINKER HOUSE IS NO LONGER STANDING. THE ROOF DETERIORATED AND CAUSED THE HOUSE TO COLLAPSE. THE SITE IS SHOWN ON THIS PICTURE AS A DEPRESSION IN THE GROUND. JOHN DRINKER BUILT THE HOUSE IN 1815. HE WAS A QUAKER PORTRAIT ARTIST FROM PHILADELPHIA.
