Description: The British won control of Sint Eustatius (Saint Eustatius), in a naval battle against the Dutch in 1781. Sint Eustatius (Saint Eustatius), one of the Caribbean islands under the control of the Dutch during the eighteenth century, was at the centre of the arms trade supplying the British colonies.
